Winning draws for three sides but heavy defeat for 2nd’s

Ram Ghuman hit 110 not out and Matt Craven 76 as Kibworth 1st XI piled up 267-4 against Barrow. The visitors finished on 159-8 to leave Andy Smith’s side with 19 valuable points.

The 2nd’s were heavily beaten at Shepshed Town being bowled out for 158 after the home side had compiled 272-4.

The 3rd Team took the lions share of the points at Weldon as the home side shut up shop early in the chase after Mike Wilkins side had made 228. As a result the side hold an 83 point lead over third placed side Stoke Bruerne

Game of the day occured on the second ground where Charles Page-Morris marked his senior debut by scoring 179 as the 4th team racked up 286. It was nearly not enough however as Shepshed Messingers replied with 280-5
