Alan Young Q&A

Friday night saw KCC host former LCFC legend and Radio Leicester summariser Alan Young, as part of his tour in support of the launch of his autobiography.
A good crowd gathered in the bar and were entertained for over 90 minutes by a passionate and heartfelt Q&A session.  Alan answered questions about his career, his life after football, his thoughts on all things LCFC and shared warm stories about his heroes such as Jock Wallace and Dennis Law….and not so fond memories of Sam Allardyce!
This was an evening that was as far away as you can get from the spoilt, overpaid footballers of today, and took us back to an era when it was the love of the game, and the characters that played it which were the main rewards.
After the q&a session Alan gladly signed copies of his book for the crowd and it was a real pleasure to have been present on the night, and we wish Alan all the best for the future.
If anyone would like a personalised copy of Alan’s excellent autobiography you can get one from his website there are also some fantastic pictures on there for any lovers of LCFC past
