Houghton and Thurnby scored 92 for 9 off their 35 overs, with Sophia Saran top-scoring with a spirited 20 off 37 balls. Kibworth's bowlers put on an impressive display, with Emma Blundell taking 2 wickets for 17 runs, Lara Barrett claiming 3 wickets for just 6 runs, and Saanchi Khanna, Deborah Butler, and Jane Worlding each chipping in with a wicket.
