After a disappointing Saturday for the 1st XI with the abandonment of the game at Syston, the team bounced back with a fantastic victory in the League Cup Semi-Final away at Lutterworth yesterday.

Batting first the boys set Lutterworth 232 to win, with PJ top scoring with 85 from 66 balls.In response after a quick start, Lutterworth were bowled out for 197. Vishal Patel taking 5-33 at the death.

With 7 players on holiday and Lutterworth at their strongest, this victory really was a team effort. Huge congratulations to CPM and his team yesterday.

The final against Loughborough Town is at Lutterworth on Sunday August 19th.

This Sunday 29th July sees the team take part in the ECB T20 Area Finals Day at Peterborough Town. The first game is against the hosts with a 10:30am start.
