The KCC management committee are delighted to announce that we will be opening the bar and outside area for drinks on Saturday 4th July following on from the Government announcements over the past couple of weeks. Despite hoping we would be able to announce that cricket was on the agenda, we are extremely happy to be able to partially open the facility for friends and family for drinks whilst abiding to all regulations put upon venues like ours.
This week we are implementing several measures to allow members and friends of KCC to come along for a drink at KCC. We want to stick to the 2m rule as we believe we have the space to do so, but will also be adding the below measures:
• One way system inside the clubhouse.
• Separate ordering point and collection points.
• All purchases to be consumed outdoors.
• Seating areas outdoors, 6 to a table.
• Collection of names and numbers for track and trace.
• Maximum indoor occupancy of 12.
• Upstairs and downstairs toilets available and cleaned every hour alongside all other predominant touchpoint areas.
Due to the size of area behind the bar, we will only have 2 staff working. One will be taking orders and cashiering, the other will be pouring and serving. These will be at differing ends of the bar.
Later this week, we hope to get some pictures and videos onto the website for you all to be able to see the measures we are putting in place to keep our members and staff safe.
Our prices will increase, therefore if you want to take advantage of 2019 prices, please do so by ordering through our virtual pub. The Isolation Arms will remain open online until Thursday evening, when we will be closing ahead of the opening next Saturday. Please click here for more information.
Keep your eyes peeled for more news, pictures and details about the opening this week.
If you have any questions regarding this news, please do direct them to a member of the committee.
