Fun In The Sun!

On a beautiful summers evening the Kibworh U11's Incrediball Team snatched victory from the jaws of defeat with some fantastic bowling at the death. Uppingham needing just 5 to win with 4 overs to go proceeded to lose 4 wickets and hand Kibworth the unlikeliest of victories.
Batting first Kibworth racked up 255 runs with Toby Hirst and Joe Laywood both scoring 14 runs without getting out and hitting some lovely boundaries.
With the ball young guns Tom Spence and Guy Hirst bowled two really good overs each and when the pressure was on Sam Ward bowled a great final over to secure the victory.
Overall a very enjoyable evening with all the boys playing with a smile on their face and even rumours that the grumpy coach might have cracked a smile as well!!
