The Under 11 A's got off to a winning start in this seasons Under 11's cup. Skipper Oliver Stone lost the toss and his side was invited to bat by the opposition. Though there was some nice stroke play and good running between the wickets, the loss of 12 wickets restricted the home side 240. The only two batsman not to give their wickets away were Manav and Arvand.
However, the Kibworth boys looked a lot more comfortable with the ball in their hand rather than a bat and managed to restrict the visitors to just 207 runs in their 16 overs. Though all the boys bowled well special mention must go to the skipper Oliver Stone who bowled with speed and accuracy and to Arvand who bowled a beautiful spell of leg spin.
The boys will look to continue their winning start when they travel to East Langton to play the Langtons this Friday night.
